1x02 Credit Where Credits Due.
SWEET! I get to do the first post on episode 2!
So here it is guys, the famous (or infamous) Paris Hilton episode. Does anyone know if R.T created Caitlin Ford based on paris, or if it was just that her acting skills were a little underdeveloped and her real personality shone through. Either way Caitlin bugged me.... but i don't know if thats because i have a hard time seeing Logan with anyone different
I think my favourite scene in this episode is the flashback car scene. I love Lilly's comment - " Well you know what my mom says - you have to kiss a few toads...........thats it, thats her entire philosophy." - that girl cracks me up. I also love the friendship developing between V and Wallace, i personally believe that he thawed Veronica's heart just before the frostbite set in. If he hadn't of showed up when he did i don't know if she would have cared about anything other than Lilly's murder, all the other people with problems wouldn't really have mattered to her as much . I think Wallace gave her back her sense of empathy.

I love the Weevil too, the fact that he confessed to the credit fraud even though he didn't do it to save his sweet old granny is testimony to the golden heart that hides deep within him. Its cool to watch the antagonism between Logan and him now, knowing that there was so much more going on beneath the surface there. Damn that Lilly was a lucky girl (well - She was until October 3rd any how) stuck between them two is a place I'd like to be. She can keep Logan's dad though. He was icky even before the truth came out.
The discovery of the speeding ticket is probably the most important piece of the Lilly Kane murder puzzle to be revealed in this episode and i love Veronicas anecdote about sneaking into the sheriffs office with Lilly to make fake ID's. But something about that scene bothered me.
Doesn't an ID card have to have a picture on it in America? I'm Australian and here the photo is pretty much what makes it identification. So if Veronica used Lilly's ID to get the speed camera pics, even if that woman behind the desk didn't know her as Veronica, Wouldn't she still be able to see that she wasnt Lilly? Especially if she looked at the girl in speed camera pics, then at the ID card, and then at Veronica, shouldnt she have been like - "One of these things is not like the other, one of these things is not the same" (sorry for the sesame street reference - I couldn't help myself - it just seemed soooo perfect) can some one American PLEASE tell me if ID has photos on it over there.
I tend to get stuck on little details like this and its doing my head in. Well thats it from me for now. Thanks for reading guys and keep on watching the best TV show ever!!!!!
